Stories We Made In New York
Stories We Made in New York
Every cork in this piece was once the punctuation mark at the end of a moment. A toast, a laugh, a late night that turned into an early morning. New York has a way of collecting those moments faster than anywhere else.
Stories We Made in New York is a large-scale wall sculpture built entirely from reclaimed natural wine corks. Each one was pulled from a bottle that marked something: a celebration, a connection, a night worth remembering. Gathered, sorted, and composed by hand, they come together here not as waste, but as a record.
Nothing about this work was manufactured for the wall. It was lived first.
That's the quiet truth at the center of every piece I make: the material already carried meaning before I touched it. My job is simply to make sure none of it gets lost. The corks don't disappear into a landfill. The moments don't fade into forgetting. Both get to stay.
Built From Moments. Nothing Wasted.
